My practical education began in my father's wood shop and continued with summer jobs in car mechanics, construction, landscaping, and painting. This led to my first professional winter work as a snow-plow operator and a lift operator at a local ski resort.

After college, I gained specialized skills working for the log home company Timmerhus, providing me with experience in timber framing and log construction. I also worked in park and site maintenance for organizations like Missoula Parks and Recreation, and contributed to specialized projects like trail construction with Arrowhead Trails LLC. Additionally, I worked in general maintenance at a ski resort and managed my own side business remodeling cabins and providing custom reclaimed lumber finish work.

• Structural Repair: I've done comprehensive work on foundations, secured floor joists, replaced rotted framing, and managed water infiltration issues.

• Finish Carpentry & Custom Work: I've constructed custom craftsman-style porches, remodeled stairwells, and refinished vintage wood floors.

• Exterior & Site Management: I've performed stucco repair, built decks, installed fencing, and executed large-scale site changes like leveling large slopes, building rock retaining walls, and creating effective water management swales.

• Finish Carpentry & Custom Builds: Designing and building custom craftsman-style elements, including porch reconstruction with exposed ceiling structures, custom stairwells, building bridges, and fabricating window caps.

• Interior & Exterior Finish Work: Proficient in drywall, removing and repairing stucco, replacing windows, sanding and refinishing old wood floors (including elaborately designed floors using reclaimed lumber), and interior wall framing.

• Heavy Equipment: Skilled in the operation of maintenance equipment, including snow removal equipment, skids, and mini excavators.

Landscaping & Site Management
