My life's curriculum has been shaped by continuous movement and discipline: from the resilience instilled by military service and the commitment of being a teacher, to the freedom found in cycling and skiing. This deep love for physical and emotional challenge, and the outdoors, has always complemented my practical side. I've spent my life building things—whether it's language acquistion and proficiency , structures with my hands, or capacity in people through education and sports. My career is defined by two complementary passions: hands-on craftsmanship and maintaining the integrity of the natural world, and a commitment to leading and teaching.

For the past decade, I successfully founded and operated my own soccer coaching company. This entrepreneurial path provided the essential time and flexibility needed to manage the demands of being a "long-distance dad" and travel to visit my children regularly. Accepting a conventional full-time role during that time would have been too stressful and unfair to an employer due to the frequent travel—a conscious decision I made knowing it would set back my career progression.

With that chapter now closed and my children grown and starting their university journeys, I’m enthusiastically pivoting toward my next professional adventure. My career has taught me that talent, passion, and a proven ability to lead are what truly matter—not just job titles. I'm eager to bring my unique blend of Mentorship & Education, Adventure & Event Operations, and Hands-On & Operations to a challenging new role.
